Started in banking in 1983. Fulfilled several functions at ABN-AMRO, CenE Bankiers NV (=ING Bank) and Rabobank. Always in the international area of the bank e.g. X-border Payments; Treasury, Documentary credits and International Cash Management.
Since 2005 Specialist Payments/Market Infrastructures responsible for the coordination of SWIFT within Rabobank Nederland. Chairperson of the Dutch SWIFT National User Group. Was a member of the ISO 20022 Payment Standards Evaluation group and several other standards working groups within SWIFT and/or ISO 20022. As of January 1, 2010 business responsible for EBA & Target 2. From 2012 to 2015 member of the Payment Market Practice Group (PMPG), representing the BeNeLux.
