Louise Themelin started her career as an IT consultant at Sopra Banking Software in 2015. Moving to Business Consultancy in 2018, Louise worked on new EU regulations such as PSD2, Instant payment and GDPR for Sopra Banking's business consultancy team.
 
In 2018 she joined Cream Consulting as Senior Consultant where she started working for Belfius within Belfius' Payment & Financial logistics unit with the mission to define the ideal payment & card system for the bank's clients but also for the back-office users. 
 
A year later, Louise joined Belfius as a Payment Business Expert. Her first mission was the implementation of the open banking part of PSD2 within the bank. Louise now follows the latest and future developments of the payment industry including upcoming regulations on Instant Payments, open banking and the Digital-Euro. She is also working on internal payment projects with Belfius.
Louise represents Belfius in several groups at Belgian interbank level and is the Belgian representative in two EPC task forces.
