Karin holds a degree in Political and Social Sciences from the University of Ghent and an MBA from the Ruca in Antwerp. Next, she also holds a degree from the Vlerick Business School and a degree from the Insead in Paris.
She learned to build a strong team to realize daily the crystal clear commitments towards SME’s, midcap and trading companies.
Within the group strategy advisors' team, she closely cooperated with top management. Karin gained next insight in how to perform strategic analysis in different business parts, and also insight into the steering mechanism of a bank-insurance group. She masters the skill of presenting conclusions in an engaging way and knows the value of it as an important part of the success story.
Karin brought a vision of how KBC can interact with their clients in a more digital world and which tools, structure and change are needed to also be the reference in a hybrid, client-centric banc-insurer.
Step by step KBC Belgium is seen as a worldwide digital leader with KBC Mobile as the best app in Belgium & top 3 in the World. We are on a mission to stay a digital leader with the best personal assistant Kate, supported by our data-driven organization.
Since November 2021, Karin is a member of the management committee KBC Belgium, responsible for the further transformation/innovation & for data in KBC Belgium..
