Emőke oversees European public and regulatory affairs at Worldline, a global leading paytech and European market leader in digital payments and financial services, providing digital solutions for secure payments, and trusted, and sustainable transactions in over 50 countries. As part of the global department of strategy & public affairs, she is responsible for policy advocacy, coordination, and governmental relations vis-a-vis European and national policymakers, being the advocacy lead on instant payments too.

Prior to that, Emőke acquired experience both in policy-making in national governments and in European governance: starting at the European Parliament, and joining for six years the European Commission, overseeing one of the six headline priorities of the Commission: the protection of EU democracy, with a focus on European election coordination, including preserving free and fair elections, combating disinformation, and creating greater transparency in online political advertisements, achieving a gender balance in political representation, promoting e-democracy and the use of AI and new technologies in democratic participation.
